When is appropriating homage and when is it plagarism?
Questo dibattito si tratta dell'appropriazione che è una constante idea spinosa nel mondo dell'arte. Ho pensato che questo fosse giusto da pensare poco dopo le elezioni americane e l'elezione del 2008 che ha visto una grandissima causa legale contro Shepard Fairey grazie alla sua immagine relativa alla campagna elettorale di Obama.
The debate brings up the topic of appropriation that is a constant thorn in the artist's world. I thought this would be appropriate to think about just after the US elections and the 2008 election's epic appropriation lawsuit against Shepard Fairey because of his image related to Obama's campaign.
